The club will be working with the DNR and an area fishery to purchase fish to assist in restocking Beckman Lake. The fishery requires a minimum purchase order of $1000. Once we meet the $1000 minimum order, the more money that is received will result in more fish that will be put into the lake.

A section of one of the park's hiking trails runs through a designated wetlands just east of the tall pines which parallels a section of Cadiz Springs Road. A simple boardwalk currently exists along this muddy section but during the wettest periods it doesn't extend long enough in either direction.Since this is a designated wetlands, the State will need to review the existing walkway before any improvements can be made. We are currently seeking funds to improve and potentially replace the current walkway.
Update: The dock was installed in Beckman Lake at Cadiz Springs on May 2nd using approximately $1400 of the club's general revenue in order to reach the $8,000 goal. The club partnered with the Wisconsin DNR to purchase and install the accessible Kayak / Canoe Launch which also doubles as a fishing platform. The club's portion required the group to raise $8000 and the state covered the rest of the approximately $32,000 cost. The dock is built by a Wisconsin based company, Mod-U-Docks. This link provides an example of a Kayak Launch ( https://modudock.com/unique-features ). You can still donate to the dock and help replenish the club funds which will be used for future matching fund park improvement grants.
